The total time taken in the preparation is going to be 30 minutes which comprises of prep time of15 mins and 15 minutes of cooking time. At least 2 hours will be taken for the whole thing to cool down so count that too also.

Following things will be needed –

a) 1/3 cup (66 g) granulated sugar
b) 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
c) 1 large egg
d) 1/2 cup (104g) light brown sugar, packed
e) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
f) 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
g) 1 1/2 cups (186g) all-purpose flour
h) 1/2 teaspoon salt
i) 1 1/2 cups (255g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

    Here are the steps that you need to follow -

    Remember the dough in this requires chilling.

    a) So start by placing the melted butter in the bowl of a stand mixer which comes fitted with the paddle attachment.
    b) Then you are needed to add granulated and brown sugars. Mix them on low speed and make them smooth. Thereafter, combine the egg and vanilla extract.
    c) Now, make a blend of baking soda and salt, at that point gradually mix the flour till it becomes smooth. Be certain to rub the sides of the bowl amid blending. Gradually blend in chocolate chips.
    d) Using a baking mat or parchment paper, line in the cookie sheet. Then scoop 2 tablespoon balls of dough on that sheet. It does not matter if you give in space or not because, in the end, you will be cooling the dough. Finally, cover by taking the help of plastic wrap and let it cool down for at least 2 hours.
    e) Preheating at 350°F is needed for the oven. Now, line a second cookie sheet with parchment paper.
    f) Finally, remove the cookie dough balls from the refrigerator. Put them 2-inches apart on the cookie sheets.
    g) The baking has to be done for at least 11-15 minutes or till the edges become golden. Don’t forget to cool the cookie for at least 10 minutes before you remove them.
